ABOUT HAYLEY

I was born in Newport Beach, California and I now live in Lake Como, Italy for half of the year. 

I competed professionally for the United States in swimming and then triathlon for nearly 10 years. I am a World Championship medalist in distance freestyle. 

Upon retiring from sports, I became a Steineriana ( a teacher in the Waldorf/Rudolf Steiner schools).

After becoming a certified Waldorf teacher, I moved to Lake Arenal, Costa Rica, and with the help of the Community, I created a Steiner school and taught there for three years. The children were from ages 5-12.

In Nosara, Costa Rica, I create beach camps, where I teach children about ocean safety and environmental awareness. 

Upon moving to Lake Como, I have been providing swimming lessons (with 15 years of experience) to children as well as adults. I am also a certified yoga teacher for children in which I love to incorporate art.
